Brazilian Society of Clinical Neurophysiology

When we presented our candidacy to take over the board of SBNC, the choice of the name “TOGETHER WE ARE STRONGER” was an inspiration that reflects our philosophy for SBNC. We have always thought of our society and its relations with members and partners as essentially aggregating, aggregating knowledge, areas, regions, experiences, talents, in short, people. We also always think of a society focused on the interest of its members: in the dissemination of technical-scientific information, in the creation of norms and guiding guidelines, in the uncompromising defense of the rights and dignity of our members.

We continue to defend the dissemination of medical knowledge and intend to extend it as much as possible. We will work on structuring the residency in the new required standards and create the means for this to happen with quality.

With regard to professional defense, we will fight for the creation of tools that favor technical correction, good ethical practices and fair remuneration for the work of clinical neurophysiologists throughout the national territory.

Finally, the confirmation of the SBNC in its role in granting the title with the AMB and the fight for the recovery of the specialty status.

At the present moment, our challenges are not few and not much less easy. I believe in our ability to overcome such obstacles, but not without the participation of colleagues whom we are very honored to represent. The best definition for what we are doing is not that of a president or director, or even a director, we are representatives of a noble specialty that needs to rise again proud of its achievements and assume the role that belongs to us along with other medical specialties.
