Mumbai Local Train Live Status

THIS IS A BETA VERSION

Uzyt provides real-time status of Mumbai local trains. The data is crowdsourced and validates our conviction that each one of us can work for the greater social good.

Uzyt finds and recommends trains and connections based on your profile and preferences.

*** The app will initially cover fast trains on the Western network during peak travel hours in the mornings and evenings. The coverage will expand when fellow Mumbaikars like you continue to contribute.

MULTI-LINGUAL

The current version of the app will benefit commuters whose native language includes Hindi, Marathi and English. Upcoming versions will include languages to support Mumbaikars with other native languages.

PERSONALISED COMMUTE RECOMMENDATIONS

Uzyt intelligently recommends commute options based on your profile and travel preferences. These include:

• Travel Class – Ladies or Gents First class / Second class / AC

• Day of week – Weekday, Saturday, Sunday & Holiday

• Time of travel - Peak versus non-peak

• Direction of Travel

• Extended commute – go back and / or beyond your final destination

• Connecting train preferences

TRAVEL COMFORT AND TIME RATINGS BASED ON COMMUTER PROFILE

• Each commute option is rated for Comfort and Time on a scale of 1 to 10, 10 being the best rating

• Ratings are computed based on current and future commute options

• The same train can have a different rating for Ladies First Class versus Gents Second Class

• Ratings provide a guide to commuters when deciding commute options

FILTER CONTROLLED TRAIN LISTING

Powerful and comprehensive filters let you control the train listing based on your preferences. These filters include:

• Travel Class: Ladies or Gents First class / Second class / AC

• Train Speed

• Ladies Special and Air Conditioned Trains

• Extended commute: recommendations that suggest you go back from your start station or beyond your end station

• Multiple Via options

• Tight connections

• Number of trains in your commute option

• Minimum Comfort and Time ratings

• Uzyt recommendations based on Time savings and Comfort Rating loss
