Battery Ampere Monitor lets you verify it. Monitor your battery's charging and discharging performance in real time.

Battery info: Shows voltage, temperature, health, capacity, and charging status.

Live charging/discharging current (mA) monitoring.

Charging graph: Visualize current stability over time.

Battery health checker: Estimate remaining capacity vs. original (like iOS).

Wide device support, including many Chinese-brand phones.

🧠 How It Works:

When not charging, the app shows discharge current (negative value).

When charging, it shows charging current (positive value).

For example:

If your phone consumes -300mA while idle, and you use a 500mA charger, the charging value shown will be around +200mA.

Measurements depend on:

Charger type (USB/AC/Wireless)

Cable quality

Device hardware & firmware

Screen brightness, GPS, Wi-Fi, background tasks...

⚙️ Technical Notes:

Not all devices are supported. Some lack proper measurement chips or Android APIs.

If you see 0mA readings, try enabling “Old Measurement Method” in settings.

Current is averaged from 50 samples (top 10 and bottom 10 filtered for stability).

Some phones (e.g. Galaxy S5) may only report maximum estimated current — this is a firmware limitation.

🚫 Important:

Battery Ampere Monitor is not a lab-grade instrument.

Use it to compare the effectiveness of chargers and cables on the same device — not for exact battery diagnostics.
