Transform words by changing one letter at each step

A great opportunity to expand your English vocabulary in the form of an exciting game.

Enjoy a new spin-off of the classic puzzle game Word Ladder (invented by Lewis Carroll in 1877).

The puzzle shows a starting word at the top and an ending word at the bottom. There is only one way to transform the starting word and reach the ending word – and you must find it!

The rule of the game is simple: you can transform the word only by replacing - in each instance - a single letter.

The challenge: each word you get in the process of the transformation must itself be a valid English word!

There are more difficult versions of the puzzle - with exactly two letters replaced at each step.

A very special version of the puzzle is exactly three letters replaced at each step, which makes the puzzle almost impossible to solve.

Only the most common English words are allowed.

Each puzzle has only one correct solution.
