Many have theorized the art of tracking (carefully reading and interpreting the subtle makings upon the landscape) to be the origin our modern scientific method. Think about the significance of that for a minute. As a species, we've learned to survive and thrive due to our developed ability to notice and make meaning. This incredible skill is responsible for the basis of how we think and perceive the world today.

However, because our culture is no longer designed around nature and its cycles, our awareness has naturally atrophied over the course of just a few generations.
