Max Trap, presented by the Goethe-Institut, is a classic word game, that is a fun way to learn about Germans, their language and their culture.

Your goal is to guess the correct answer to the question before you run out of chances; else ‘Max’, the colorful parrot from Germany, will get trapped in the cage. For every wrong guess, the cage gets lowered by one level. On 5 wrong attempts Max is trapped and you lose the game.

And that’s not all. To increase your adrenaline, try playing the game in countdown mode. Here you get just 30 seconds and 5 chances to guess the correct answer and save Max.
