Candice played both singles and doubles at the #1 varsity position for four years at Villanova University while Kristen competed as captain at Princeton University. Their lifelong experience on the court inspired the sisters to design Cruise Control Gear, an elite tennis, golf and active wear company for all male and female athletes.

The Carlin Sisters true passion is tennis and had originally designed their clothing line for tennis players. As the Cruise Control Gear brand quickly caught on in the tennis arena, there was an immediate customer demand to increase the apparel line for all types of athletic activity. Cruise Control Gear listened to customer demand and has created performance apparel lines for men and women of all ages and all shapes and sizes.
