Shift supports the mental health and wellbeing of Junior Medical Officers in NSW

Safeguard your mental health with Shift - a free, easy-to-use app designed to help Junior Medical Officers (JMOs) working in NSW to build and maintain their mental health while managing the demands of their profession.

Developed by Black Dog Institute, in collaboration with JMOs and leading clinicians, Shift delivers essential mental health and wellbeing skills across a range of topics including: depression, anxiety, burnout, shift work, sleep, diet and exercise, exams and interviews, and bullying. There is also an activity developed in response to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Completely confidential, Shift can be used at any pace, with activities taking just a few minutes!

Black Dog Institute is continuing to collect Shift user data for analysis under a Human Research Ethics Committee (HREC) approval. Participants of this ongoing evaluation will be required to complete a questionnaire after download of Shift. Users may however opt out of this data collection component and still use the app.
