Shadow Fight 3 makes a comeback in China, in collaboration with Wanda Cinema Games

In cooperation with Wanda Cinema Games, Shadow Fight 3 will provide a fully localized version for Chinese gamers.

Nekki, the innovative creator behind the popular Shadow Fight series, is excited to announce the reintroduction of Shadow Fight 3 in China, a collaboration with Wanda Cinema Games. This announcement marks a huge achievement as the game reenters one of the world's largest gaming markets, where dedicated fans have been eagerly waiting for its return.
Since its launch in November 2017, Shadow Fight 3 has successfully enchanted more than 230 million gamers globally. The game has already gained significant popularity in China, building on the foundation laid by Shadow Fight 2. By 2021, 25% of the game's total iOS downloads were from China, making it the top market on the App Store.

In August 2023, after unwavering efforts from Nekki and its Chinese partners, Shadow Fight 3 received an ISBN license from China's State Administration of Press and Publication (SAPP)—a highly notable accomplishment, as less than 100 foreign games were licensed that year. This re-launch has been highly anticipated, with pre-registrations already exceeding 1.6 million.
Shadow Fight 3 is now set to provide a fully localized experience for Chinese gamers, thanks to a partnership with Wanda Cinema Games, a leader in Chinese entertainment and gaming since 2011. Wanda Cinema Games plans to utilize its large user base, movie media, and advertising resources to construct a dynamic entertainment ecosystem that enhances both game and movie promotions.
