Pokemon Go Community Day Classic: Squirtle Makeup Event Is Coming Soon

Have you ever witnessed three Community Day events occurring within a month in Pokémon Go? This is quite rare, even when considering the inclusion of Classic events. The current event featuring Squirtle isn't particularly unique either; it has been reintroduced due to the problems players faced during the previous Community Day Classic: Squirtle event on July 9th.

The 7th-anniversary celebration of Pokémon Go was led by Squirtle, who is known as Pokémon #007. However, there were numerous problems for players using the Pokémon Trainer Club during the event. To compensate for this, Niantic has decided to organize the Community Day Classic event on July 23rd from 2:00 to 5:00 pm local time once again.

As per usual, Squirtle will be more commonly encountered in its natural habitat, and its rare shiny version will also appear more often. Players can also find Squirtle by completing various tasks, especially Field Researches which may reward them with a special Squirtle wearing sunglasses.

This makeup event is highly beneficial for those who didn't encounter any issues previously, as they have the opportunity to earn additional Candy. By obtaining enough Candy, players can evolve their Pokémon into Wartotle and ultimately into Blastoise. If trainers successfully achieve this before 7:00 pm, they will obtain a Blastoise that possesses the powerful Charged Attack Hydro Cannon.

In addition to all of that, the event will also bring back bonuses to make things more convenient. If you activate Lure Modules or Incense during the event, they will last for three hours instead of their usual duration. Eggs will also require only a quarter of the distance to hatch. Moreover, players who take snapshots during the event might come across some unexpected surprises as well.

In addition, trainers have the opportunity to join the Community Day Special Research Story for just $1. This special event grants them access to exclusive activities where they can earn various rewards and come across Squirtle. After this event concludes, there will be another Community Day on July 30th which will highlight Poliwag as its main focus.
