Honkai: Star Rail's 2.6 Update Brings Players Back to Penacony and Introduces a New 5-star Character

The 2.6 version of Honkai: Star Rail is set to reintroduce players to Penacony and Paperfold University
A new 5-star character, Rappa, is also ready for introduction.
A significant update is also anticipated for The Simulated Universe DLC

Star Rail is an epic sci-fi RPG from miHoYo featuring a vast and dangerous universe.

Despite the current popularity of Zenless Zone Zero, MiHoYo's other premium games are not far behind in terms of content. One such example is the forthcoming version update of Honkai: Star Rail, which is all set to launch soon and reintroduce players to the much-loved Penacony.

Following their latest adventure in Xianzhou, players are set to once again explore Penacony and pay a visit to the distinguished Paperfold University. Guests of honor include the crew from Astral Express. Furthermore, players can look forward to the uniquely named Trailblaze Continuance mission, Banana Outrage: Battles Without Ninja and Humanity.

In addition to this, a new 5-star character known as Rappa the Galaxy Ranger will join the game. Rappa, a female with a peculiar interest in Ninjas, is set to enhance gameplay. An update to the Simulated Universe DLC is also to be launched, offering new challenges and opponents for players to best. The eagerly awaited update will become available across all platforms on October 23rd.

MiHoYo is well-known for producing three highly acclaimed games. Despite these games currently competing closely in terms of content, there is speculation over whether MiHoYo has taken on more than it can handle. Whether this is true or not, anything more than the existing three games may put a strain on their resources.
