The October 2024 Update for Clash of Clans brings back the "Clash-O-Ween", introducing a variety of new features and seasonal challenges that promise to engage players throughout the month. Here’s a comprehensive overview of the patch notes:

🎃 Clash-O-Ween Event

Mashup Season (October 1-31)

This season features a Spooky Trio of skins available in the Gold Pass: Archer Queen, Barbarian King, and Grand Warden. Players can look forward to festive aesthetics as they battle through the month.

Clan War League (October 1-11)

The Clan War League returns, allowing clans to compete for glory and rewards.

Challenges

From October 1-9, players can participate in the "Doom and Gloom!" Challenge, where Dark Minion Heroes will be unleashed.

From October 11-31, players can assist the Builder's Apprentice in the Mashup Mania! event, featuring the "No Strings Attached" Challenge that involves Lavaloons.

Clan Games (October 22-28)

Clan Games return, offering additional opportunities for players to earn rewards and participate in community challenges.

👻 Upcoming Test for Seasonal Challenges

Starting October 1, a test will be conducted to enhance the completion rate of Seasonal Challenges. This will affect players at Town Hall level 7 and above, with three different challenge formats randomly assigned:

Standard Challenge Set: Similar to previous seasons.
Reduced Points Requirement: A total of 2,000 points instead of 2,600.
Additional Weekly Tasks: More tasks each week to allow for higher overall scoring.

The goal is to identify which format encourages more players to complete their Seasonal Challenges and Gold Pass.
