Wirdullatifah emerged as a response to the concerns of a student of Maulana Syaikh who was concerned about seeing jealousy and disputes among Nahdlatul Wathan residents. Feeling disturbed by this situation, the student decided to ask Allah SWT for guidance through istikharah and wirid. For years, he prayed with great hope for a solution to the problems he faced.

In one of his visions, Maulana Shaikh came to his room and gave him the answer to his anxiety. This visit not only strengthened the disciple's faith, but also implied that a solution to his worries would soon come. After that, this vision was followed by the arrival of other khadams such as Shaykh Abdul Qadir Jaelani, who is known as one of the great saints in Islam, Syaihoty Rabi'atul Adawiah, a female Sufi who is famous for her love of Allah, and Shaykh Muhammad Zaini Abdul Ghani , a great cleric from Kalimantan.

The presence of these important figures shows how serious the problems faced by the student are and how much God wants to provide a way out. They bring wisdom and guidance which is then formulated in the form of Wirdullatifah. Wirdullatifah is not an ordinary wazifa; it is a collection of prayers and dhikr designed to be a spiritual fortress for its practitioners. By practicing this wirid, it is hoped that Nahdlatul Wathan followers can avoid various slander, disasters and disturbances that can divide the people.

Each stanza in Wirdullatifah is composed full of wisdom and deep meaning. His poetry not only contains prayers, but also teaches high moral values. These readings provide inner peace, strengthen faith, and bring practitioners closer to Allah SWT. Wirdullatifah is also a means of strengthening spiritual and social ties among its practitioners, keeping them away from feelings of envy, jealousy and hostility.
