Supplication consulted in writing and voice

Al-Sayyid Ibn Tawus narrated in the book Muhj al-Daawat on the authority of the Commander of the Faithful (peace be upon him), that he said: “The Messenger of God (may God’s prayers and peace be upon him and his family) taught me this supplication and commanded me to supplicate it for every hardship and prosperity, and to teach it to my successor after me, and he commanded me not to part from it.” Throughout my life, God Almighty met me and said to me: Say this supplication every morning and evening, for it is one of the treasures of the Throne. Ubayy ibn Ka'b sought the Prophet (may God bless him and his family and grant them peace) to be informed of this supplication, so he informed the Prophet (may God bless him and his family and grant them peace) of some of his great reward.
